A brief update on the Sunderland story. Two of the three fans that we have been in contact with, have appeared in court in Sunderland today.
One pleaded guilty ‘to get it over and done with’ but got a conditional discharge and no Football Banning Order.
The case for the other is due to be reheard on 21st Jan but he doesn’t have to attend. His bail conditions have been lifted meaning he can attend games over Christmas. The fact that the court has viewed the case so favourably today is very encouraging.
A fourth fan has now been in contact and we will help him in any way we can.
