The 3rd round draw for the league cup has been made and Pompey’s reward for seeing off Hereford in round 2 is a meeting with Carlisle.
We will travel to the league one side with us believing that this gives us a genuine chance to progress into round 4, and this draw does give us a fantastic chance of doing that!
Paul Hart was eyeing a cup run, this chance has started to open up now…
Of course it will not be an easy game but we would be favourites to progress – I have never been to Carlisle so this could be the chance, although it is a hell of a long journey for me…
