Vital Fantasy Football – ‘Pompey mini league’

After the latest round of Premiership matches of the 2007/08 season the current leader in the Vital Fantasy Football ‘Pompey mini league’ is Bluoo Toooth Bashers with 113 points, who retains top spot for a 2nd week running. This leaves them ahead of maradona_kebab with 106 points, who lost a bit of ground points wise but also retains the 2nd spot from last time. The Pompey Chimes has 105 points and climbs from 4th – 3rd.

Bluoo Toooth Bashers stays in the overall top 50, of over 3000 entries, with the other two just outside the top 100 – congratulations fellas.

My believed to be improvement was short lived as I dropped from 22nd – 25th in the Pompey mini league, despite having, what I though was ‘a decent week’, roll on the transfer window! I also went down from 1957th – 2242nd place overall.

‘Pompey predictions league’

On the whole most people correctly predicted the outcome in the Pompey Predictions League for the Chelsea game, but no one got the actual score spot on.

Chix was one of 9 to correctly predict defeat to Chelsea, although he went for a 2-0 defeat – we always lose to them, so it was little wonder people went this way – so his 2 points in total this week enabled him to retain his place at the top of the predictions league. By also picking up 2 points auntwallop remains in 2nd on 13 points, while Bargs’ 2 points sees a climb from 5th – 3rd overall on 10 points.

By collecting 14 points in total in August Chix claims the first monthly win, so goes into an end of the season draw for a further chance to win a prize – remember that each monthly winner takes part in the draw with the first randomly drawn also winning a prize. The overall winner, along with 2nd and 3rd places also win prizes too, so this is even more reason to get involved.

If you missed out on predicting for the Chelsea match, as well as any others it is never too late just start with your predictions for the upcoming game with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday. So if you have not already made your predictions on this match with Arsenal do it here.
