‘Apparently’ an improved offer had been made to Ipswich for Grant Leadbitter, this had also been rejected so ‘Cotterill has dropped approach for another premier league loan.’
The reason why it is thought this midfielder is a loanee is because ‘another permanent arrival, assumed a defender, is on the way’.
A full back is ‘believed’ to be what this potential permanent defensive arrival would be?
