6/8/1952: Ron Tilsed
The season is now upon us but we’ll possibly still have the odd day in the early month of August when we have no games…not today though.
As we prepare for the season opener at Fratton Park against Carlisle later today we have the one birthday, that of Tilsed. He was before my time as a player but I know of him but am certain a good few on here would.
Now, onto the games previously played.

Not many games played previously in the past obviously as we’ve only previously had two.
I was at the Bournemouth defeat at Fratton to start the 2013-14 season but didn’t travel to Middlesbrough a few years before that.
Third time luck later today at the Park when Carlisle visit…
