From the ed…

Three birthday’s today, Thomas and Horne before my time although Horne is a player I recall well from later days in his career, most notably Everton. Cooper has a few spells at Fratton but never quite made it in any did he?

15-matches previously played with draws the most common them with 11 of them! Although we’ve only ever won the 1-match with 3 defeats!

It would have been the last two, but as it happens a family gathering meant that I missed the 3-0 win over Rochdale typically perhaps the best result of 2013/14 season! I was at the Stoke win in 2008, Crouch scored an awesome overhead volley that being say in North Lower gave the perfect view to follow the flight of the ball and you knew it was in before it hit the net!

For that goal alone Crouchy has image today.
