Happy birthday to Steve Berry – the Pompey player from the Blues’ past born on this day.
Berry was before my time and isn’t really a name I’m familiar with either.

Not too many games played in the past 20 odd years really but I can claim the draw with Hull at the KC Stadium, as it was then, from 2009. This stadium was visited three years running in search of a Pompey win, eventually I saw one after two goalless draws.
