3/11/1973: Andy Myers

From the ed…

Only the one birthday today, Myers is one that will definitely be remember more from his spells with others but do recall his loan spell at Fratton.

From the 16-matches previously played we’ve just about won more, 7 wins to 6 defeats with the other 3 drawn.

Remember the Newcastle game well, as meant I celebrated my birthday well but cannot claim a game previously as passed up the chance to do the FA cup tie with Notts County as Appleton had basically admitted he ‘wasn’t interested’ in the cup, yet still had the nerve to urge fans to attend!

Due to that Newcastle game, and the goals he scores, Pamarot gets the image today.
