Happy birthday to Trevor Hebberd and Ricky Holmes – the Pompey players from the Blues’ past born on this day.
Hebberd came before my time and I cannot say I actually know anything about him either to be honest.
However, Holmes is a player I do recall. Infuriated me really during his time at Fratton Park as he looked to have ability but didn’t show it enough in my opinion – form at Northampton and Charlton since proves he can cut it at League Two and One level.
