Another feature, again courtesy of our sister site PompeyRama, sees us look at those Pompey personalities – past or present – who have a birthday on this day.

18/10/1904: James Forsyth

From the Ed

Happy birthday to James Forsyth – the Pompey player from the Blues’ past born on this day.

Forsyth was before my time in fact he would have been before the time of anyone – he’s also not a player I can claim to know much, in fact anything, about.

Now onto the games previously played.

Played – 16
Won – 6
Drawn – 3
Lost – 7

I cannot claim a game myself today previously, with most of the past decades worth of games away from home probably not too surprising really.

What are your memories of Forsyth from his Pompey days? Also have you taken in any of the games previously played today – if so what are the memories from them too?

PLAY UP POMPEY
