Another feature, again courtesy of our sister site PompeyRama, sees us look at those Pompey personalities – past or present – who have a birthday on this day.

15/2/1948: Dick Reynolds
15/2/1953: Ernie Howe
15/2/1957: Malcolm Shotton

From the Ed

Happy birthday to Dick Reynolds, Ernie Howe and Malcolm Shotton – the Pompey players from the Blues’ past born on this day.

Reynolds, Howe and Shotton were all ahead of my time watching Pompey but do know of most of them by name. Shotton is the one known to me best of all but mainly from his time in the game with others aside from the Blues.

Now onto the games previously played.

Played – 8
Won – 3
Drawn – 3
Lost – 3

I do recall a good few of the games played but haven’t managed one myself on this day.

What are your memories of Reynolds, Howe and/or Shotton from their Pompey days? Also have you taken in any of the games previously played today – if so what are the memories from them too?
