Oh, how kind of you sir!

How very kind Nigerian coach Berti Vogts is, he will now ‘allow’ players in England that have FA cup 3rd round commitments to play these games before linking up with the squad ahead of the African nations.

He has told Kick Off magazine that he would have preferred them sooner but will ‘allow’ them to report slightly later than he wanted as long as they are not any later than 6th January: ‘Although I would love to have all my players in camp at least two days to the mandatory 14 days, I will give concession to those in England.

‘But they should be in camp unfailingly in the 14 days mandatory period. By January 6, all players have to be there.

‘If they are not in camp by that time, then I will get FIFA directly on this issue’.

What a gentleman he is!

As it happens to be honest I do not think that either Kanu or John Utaka will be needed for the 3rd round game with Ipswich, this is not to say that we will win easily I simply mean that with them going away it would make much more sense to look at someone else anyway.
