Not our worry, but surely not?

Yep I know, as I say in the title, that is it not our worry nor does it have much to do with us as it is not our concern – you could also argue that as it is a ‘slow news day’ this caught my attention more, either way I found it fascinatingly interesting…

Although to be fair, as Jamie was our ‘9 times’ player of the season award winner last season it is understandable that I, and other Pompey fans, would take an interest in the next steps of his career, right?

Anyway, Vital West Ham is reporting that Uncle Avram is interested in doing a deal that would take Jamie O’Hara to Upton Park with him, no surprises there then, but more surprising are the reports that this move would see Scott Parker, and cash, go the other way to Spurs: West Ham – Scotty Heading to N17?

Whilst I am a fan of O’Hara’s, and wish we could have kept him, I am – and have been for many years – a big fan of Parker’s too as I think he is a fantastic footballer who ‘probably’ should have gone to the world cup: England – Parker one of footballs ‘nearly men’

Far be it from me to question Uncle Avram, and as said it is not our worry as it does not concern Pompey, but this, for me, seems a crazy deal?

That is from West Ham’s point of view anyway, as I cannot see the logic behind this? The West Ham ed agrees with this although Spurs, and Harry Redknapp, though would surely be laughing all the way and rubbing their hands together with glee as they could offload a fringe player and with some cash too gain an England international in return.

Then again, seen as Redknapp has recently talked up Parker and O’Hara is destined to leave Spurs, with a reunion with Uncle Avram at West Ham ‘heavily rumoured’, chances are this is nothing more than media speculation on what is a slow news day for them too!

That said, I say it does not impact on us at all – then again perhaps it does?

O’Hara and Kevin-Prince Boateng are very good friends, so if O’Hara were to complete a move to West Ham this would be another brick laid in the foundations for The Prince to follow them to West Ham as well and with £5m in the bin from a ‘possible’ Parker deal could this come our way…
