Kyle Naughton has been ‘on his way’ to Pompey on loan from Spurs for what seems an age now, although this still has not happened yet…
One thing that does seem certain, according to Steve Cotterill, is that he WILL come in on this loan move from Spurs, and ‘possibly’ by the time we play Leicester again, this time in the league, on Friday.
It does seem as though, at this point in time, he will be the one and only emergency loan signing we do make – this is reading between the lines of what Cotterill said about him being the only loan we would make, as his signing will take us up to the 20 we can have at present.
I will hold my breath on this one as it has been ‘on’ for a long time now without going through, although it does seem as though it will go through eventually – I would imagine the payment of that £1m to Spurs has helped smooth over differences…
