This seems a blatant attempt to unsettle a player while he is away at the African Nations cup, Pompey are miles away and this sort of comment could turn his head, but Koeman has shown he doesn’t always play fair when he was still on the pitch, so should come as no surprise.
For the record Muntari cost £7M, so his price should certainly be a lot higher if he were to up sticks.
