Pompey had to settle for a 1-1 draw with Stevenage in league two on Tuesday, which was looking likely to be a win until an injury-time equaliser earned the visiting Boro a point and denied the Blues top spot after Plymouth lost to Oxford.

Conor Chaplin was summoned from the bench and he looked to have won it for Pompey with a little over 10-minutes to play when he got in to beat Stevenage goalie Jesse Joronen, who had made a number of saves already, at his near post.

Stevenage battled and got the point they maybe deserved when, of all people, Saints supporting sub Brett Williams headed home in the dying seconds with those missed chances, putting the saves aside, costing Pompey as the home toils continued!

The above video shows the highlights from this game at Fratton, which once again brought frustration at the Park.

Pompey now have to forget this, move on and focus on Saturday when Mansfield are the next visitors for the Blues in another really tough league two meeting, especially with them winning and of course having Craig Westcarr in their side!
