Pompey were once again frustrated – or should this be frustrating! – with the Blues held to a 0-0 draw with Mansfield in the latest league two game on Saturday.
I say ‘held’ to a draw although this was hardly a game we looked, that often, to be ‘knocking’ on the door with too much threat that often did we? Yep, we have a lot of possession did seem the more likely winner, having started the game well but once again it was a frustrating afternoon with chances at a premium.
Ok, we had chances but I wouldn’t say veteran Mansfield goalie Brain Jensen actually produced ‘an inspired display’ did he as the BBC put it!
From memory he only had to make a couple of saves? One from Enda Stevens in the 1st half and a cracking save from Ben Davies in the 2nd, does that really constitute an ‘inspired display!’
