The first, and almost certainly not the last, confirmed departure of the day is Tom Kilbey.
The Pompey Site has confirmed that the 18-year-old has joined the league two side for an initial 1-month loan spell – although I would expect this to be extended for longer to be honest.
Kilbey is a midfielder with an eye for a goal, who is also one of several players that are highly rated at Pompey, so this loan move will benefit all concerned.
Good luck Tom. Come back a stronger – and league two football will make you stronger – and hungrier player.
