Twenty years ago today thousands of football fans, young and old, men and women, made the journey from Liverpool and Nottingham to watch their respective teams in a FA Cup Semi-Final – Ninety-six of them never returned home
Those of us old enough to remember watching the events at Hillsborough on April 15th 1989 unfold on live television will never forget what we saw.
Those of you too young (or even unborn) at the time should take time to understand the events that led up to English football’s most grievous loss of life.
Remember the 96 – May they never walk alone
