Judgement day

Today is the day ladies and gentlemen…

A high court judgement, for our appeal on the winding-up petition issued over the allegation of unpaid taxes – which the club is disputing the amount of – is expected to be delivered at around 10.30am.

If in favour of PFC, and I do not know if the time being taken is good or bad, then this winding-up petition would be dropped and more time to sort out these tax issues given, if against PFC it goes before the court early in February and unpaid taxes ‘could’ see us forced into administration?

The club, well Mark Jacob anyway, will also meet with the premier league today – apparently – as lifting the transfer embargo is again discussed, along with the payment of the £2m worth of TV money that was withheld!

If a satisfactory conclusion cannot be reached then the dispute between the club and the premier league is expected to b settled by arbitration, so an independent 3rd party would rule on this…
