Jamie’s going to Wembley,

La, la, la, la. La, la, la, la.

This is just one of the things that was sung by my travelling group, and hundreds of others outside Wembley yesterday afternoon after our semi final win, with us now knowing, fitness permitting – touch wood – Jamie O’Hara WILL get his chance to play at Wembley for the FA cup final!

It was heartbreaking for him to miss out on the semi, and he must have ‘feared’ this chance would pass him by, well it has not.

The guy has no chance in hell of going back to Spurs, well not in the long-term – he crossed his manager, and you DO NOT cross that manager! By all accounts as the studio guest yesterday, and a player who is of course contracted to Spurs, remained mostly ‘neutral’ but is said to have leaned slightly in our favour all in all…

To be fair just about every one of our players deserves to be going back to Wembley for the cup final, but for me O’Hara is a player that maybe deserves this a little more as he has, on the whole, been fantastic for us during his loan spell.

Clearly he WILL NOT be short of offers this summer, and chances are staying in the premier league is what he will do, although ‘if’ Avram Grant stays on and ‘if’ we could afford him then perhaps there could be the option to buy, or loan him again with an ‘option to buy’ at the end of next season?

He is apparently meant to have said over the weekend that ‘dropping down’ is something he would consider – did he mean that in terms of dropping down a division, or dropping down a section in the league, from a top half a dozen club like Spurs to a midtable, or lower, premier league side?

Time will tell on this one, what we DO know is, all being well…

Jamie’s going to Wembley,
Jamie’s going to Wembley.
La, la, la, la. La, la, la, la.
