Pompey have completed the loan signing of French striker Frederic Piquionne – who have joined on a 1-year loan deal with Pompey having the option to sign the 30-year-old next summer.

Frederic Piquionne has joined Pompey on a year-long loan from Lyon.
The Blues have an exclusive option to buy the 6ft 2in French striker.
Piquionne, who has one France cap, is renowned for his pace and power.
The 30-year-old joined Lyon for ?4.5m last summer after a successful season at Monaco.
Born in the French territory of New Caledonia in the south Pacific, Piquionne began his career with Golden Star in the Caribbean island of Martinique.
From there he joined Nimes Olympique before three years playing for Rennes and another three at fellow French top-flight side Saint-Etienne.
Piquionne, who can also operate in a wide attacking role, made his France debut in a friendly against Austria in March 2007.
