Continuing the series, this time we look at No.8 Romain Padovani.

“Padovani was so good n training we just had to sign him said Whitts and co in May” and so he signed a two year deal.

Thee months into the season on and has the 23 year old ex-Monaco B player impressed us ?

Well he made his debut in July, in a pre-season friendly against Hawks and also managed to get his name on the scoresheet as he scored the fourth of a 5-0 win. In his following game, against Bognor, Padovani scored the second of 4-2 win so the signs were good.

Then came the step up as Johnny Ertl got suspended and we started to see a little more in a competitive environment … Then came Ertl back and Racon in and even Mahan and all of a sudden the little guys chances seem a bit limited .. and short of winning soccer AM’s crossbar challenge we haven’t seem that much of him lately ..

Is he living up to the hype or is he struggling to settle on the south coast? .. Lets not forget he doesn’t yet speak English so..

You know the format by now.. You give your thoughts on the following question…
“If you were Guy would you be:
a) Pleased or
b) disappointed
with the players contribution so far?

Obviously you can add any evidence to support your answer and also open debate with those that you may disagree, or indeed agree with.

That’s it from me, the rest is for you to comment on but just one last thing… Remember we are in League Two and we are not allowed to buy players .. Guy has to bear this in mind and so should you.
