Following the 7-4 win over Reading to mark the 11 goals the Pompey Store offered 11% off all goods – as well as giving free name and number shirt printing if you opted for No.25 Benjani.
I took advantage of this offer – to be honest I only bought my shirt at that particular time to get it with Benjani printed on the back, had it only have been the 11% off I probably would not have got it – unless it could have been with free No.2 Primus printing! – but as it had his name on the back included I thought ‘I’ll have come of that’.
No doubt many of you also took advantage of this offer too, so it will be amazing to see just how many ‘Benjani’s‘ turn up at Fortress Fratton for our next match with West Ham on Saturday.
Benjani has always been a crowd favourite with the Pompey fans, this crowd favourite is now making everyone in this country look up and take notice of him – the leagues top goalscorer, who would have thought that, long may this continue.
