Frippy’s Virtual Bookies – New League Update

It has come to my attention that a lot of people betting in Frippy’s Virtual Bookies have adopted the “Big Spender” strategy. Over £5,000 was lost by punters on the Barnet game, promoting the need for drastic action to be taken to be taken to be taken regarding the rest of the seasons betting.

My solution to this comes into the form of a league system which endorses promotion and relegation. 3 players have slipped dangerously close to going bankrupt, so I am now creating a separate league for those players, aptly named “NoPower Reserves”. From now on, anyone whose balance drops below £100 will be automatically relegated from the “FVB Elite” to the reserve league where they will receive an addition £1,000 to bet with. However, they will remain in this league unless they wish to buy back into the Elite league, at a cost of £1,350.

This should still allow players to play a higher risk game, but not reward bankruptcy. Should the need for a third league open up, I will consider opening it. But for now, the reserve league should cater for those of a reckless nature! It won’t be long before players start pawning off their virtual jewellery to feed their habits.

Any new players will still join the Elite League, albeit with a £20 penalty for each game they have missed. So if you haven’t joined yet, it’s never too late, look out for this weekends bet-sheet which will be published in the forum within the next 24 hours (if it isn’t already there).

So check out the new revised standings below, and anyone who wishes to buy back into the Elite League can let me know in the Forum threads.
