Once again Richard Duffy has made a loan switch to Coventry.
The forgotten man – who was recalled to the Welsh squad last week – joins the Championship club on loan for a 4th time, having had spells with them in 2005 and 2006. He will stay with them until the end of the season and surely complete a permanent move away this time should he impress?
Also we have handed a trial to Norwegian keeper Stefan Strandberg.
Strandberg, 17, is highly rated in Norway and will spend a week training with the youth side to see if he can earn himself a permanent stay here. If he does then he will be another of a string of impressive young keepers that we have, who will one day be vying to take over from David James.
Should he sign I think that would probably confirm a summer exit for Jamie Ashdown to be honest?
PLAY UP POMPEY!
