I would not have thought that ‘reports’ that Glen Little will be leaving Pompey this summer are in the least bit surprising are they?

The writing was well and truly on the wall for the guy when he was allowed to see out the final months of the current season on loan with his former club Reading, although they decided against re-signing him on a permanent basis and he returned to Fratton to see out the final months of his contract.

Today it is said that Coventry are looking to secure his services, which they will do on a free as he will be released at the end of his contract, either at the end of this month or the next.

Injuries were not kind to Little during his time with Pompey, but even then in all honesty this move probably came several years too late for him.

Nevertheless I will wish him all the best for the future, at least he came in with the right attitude and gave it a go, some might say his best – unfortunately this best just was not quite good enough.
