It is not everyday that you get associated with something that receives public recognition for being a success, but if you are a casual reader, passive member, active contributor, moderator or administrator for any of the Vital Football sites now is the time to feel proud.

The Daily Telegraph has just published an article naming the 25 best football websites and Vital Football is ranked seventh overall and as high as third in the ‘communities’ section.

This is a major achievement for all connected with Vital Football especially considering the thousands of football websites available on the internet and the rankings of some of the more ‘professional` organisations on the list, and more to the point, some of those that did not even make the final cut of twenty-five!

A link to the Telegraph article is below, but before you read it, give yourselves a huge pat on the back for being part of a nationally recognised success story? and whatever you do, do not stop getting involved with your thoughts and comments about our national game. That is what makes Vital Football what it is.

It doesn’t matter if you support Pompey or Arsenal, Spurs or Man City, Rotherham or Sheffield Wednesday or whoever – If you follow football there is always something of interest on Vital Football

‘For the fans by the fans’. Never was a strap-line so accurately put !

Well done everybody ? especially our very own Rug and all the other guys behind the scenes that have made Vital Football what it is today.
