My heart was telling me, as it always does, that Pompey would win, but my head was always telling me Stoke would win this game to tell the truth.
I very, very rarely believe that we will get beaten – not mate who we play – but I told my mates Ken, Richie and Rob prior to the game, whilst having a pint in Stoke, that I thought we would lose, in fact I told them that I thought we would lose and Paul Hart would be sacked this week!
