Finishing top of the league, here’s a run down on the men who got us there: Michael Doyle.

MIDFIELDER

Michael Doyle (Played 46 (0 as Sub) Scored 1):

Our Rottweiler (or should that be Irish Terrier). Doyle does everything you need a holding midfielder to do.

You’re never gonna get anything spectacular (unless it’s a volley against Accrington), in fact, if you weren’t paying full attention to the game you’d barely notice him playing. But if you watched him for 90 minutes and saw the ground he covers, and how many attacks he prevents before the even get the chance to start one, you see how good the man is.

Captain. Leader. Badass! Also, he hasn’t missed a single league game since signing in 2015.
