Every centre back pairing needs a solid one and a creative one, in my mind Christian is the latter. Never afraid to advance 15-20 yards with the ball at his feet, he offers a cool head who has been part of the most stubborn defence in the league all season.
The flip-side is he can get a bit complacent at times, switch off and give a loose pass or let a ball bounce, but still one of our best performers over the last two seasons.
