The ‘should we should we not’ sign Milan Baros debate could have taken another twist with Werder Bremen manager Claus Allofs telling SportBild that they are interested in him: ‘we are considering the possible signings of players like John Carew or Milan Baros’.
I do like Baros and feel that he has improved with games with Pompey, but I am just not entirely sure if a fee of around £6m – which I would suspect he would commend – would be best spent in this instance?
He has worked tirelessly and probably helped bring the best out of Jermain Defoe but with others that ‘might’ be available this money could be better spent elsewhere perhaps, well that is just one thought that I now have.
I guess we will find out soon enough what the future will hold for Baros and if this future will be at Fratton Park or not…
