This just sums up just how poorly some of the papers do their homework…

The Daily Mail have ‘reported’ that Everton are to table an offer of £2m for Sean Davis.

Ok, so that is fair enough – well not the £2m offer if it comes – but their ‘opinion’ that Everton might table a bid, but get a load of this and you will see what I mean:

‘The former Fulham and Tottenham man has fallen out of favour at Fratton Park this season’.

Yep, he has really ‘fallen out of favour’ this season hasn’t he! Considering that he has only been out of the side when injured – as he currently is – or suspended you can see he has clearly been out of favour…

The same paper also claimed that we are still trying to get Milan Baros on loan from Lyon and Olivier Kapo will come here instead of going to Wigan or Sunderland.

I would happily take Baros on loan, but the thought is that he is not that keen on coming here?
