A Fratton exit for Marc Wilson before tomorrow nights transfer deadline is a mere formality – the deal to take him to Stoke is more of less done according to Steve Cotterill.

The fee with Stoke for Wilson is agreed, £2.5m, and his terms again ‘more of less’ agreed – it is just a case of the ‘extras’ that Pompey get that need thrashing out…

I think that we all know that Dave Kitson and Liam Lawrence have been mentioned as ‘makeweights’ in the deal, this could prove a sticking point, not that it will prevent Wilson’s exit I would not have thought?

He will leave regardless now it would seem.

The ‘logistics’ of the deal are proving harder with it likely to be harder to get ‘two players across the line’…

It is ‘said’ that Kitson is keen on the move although Lawrence will need more ‘convincing’, lets put it this way if he does not want to be here then we do not want him, that said – to be fair – if I were a player would I really want to come here!
