Walker moves on

There will definitely not be a second season with Pompey for Liam Walker.

Walker had spoken of his desire to stay at Fratton, although to be fair it seemed as though Guy Whittingham was not entirely keen and the midfielder would have needed to undergo a trial this summer to earn an unlikely new deal.

His return was put off for a week, at his request, with it seeming that this was done to allow him to spend time with a Greek club?

That Greek club, at this point unknown, he has now joined.

It is a shame to see him leave but to be fair you cannot blame him for fixing himself up with a new club when it looked 50:50, at best, that he was going to be offered a deal for this season and I wish him well…

PLAY UP POMPEY!
