Sveotslav Todorov has made it clear he has no desire to move away from Fratton Park to join Championship side Leeds United, or any other team.

Pompey`s Bulgarian International striker Todorov has been linked with a possible move to Yorkshire in the past few days, but says he is desperate to stay at Fratton Park. Speaking to the Portsmouth News he said the following.

‘It’s up to Portsmouth what happens. But I want to stay here. I love it here’

Todorov became a Redknapp signings when arriving from previous club West Ham United in March 2002 for £750,000. He finished top scorer in the old Division One in Pompey`s Championship winning season, but he has been hampered with injuries ever since, rarely featuring in the first team until his vital contribution in last seasons dramatic relegation escape.

With Redknapp keen to improve his striking options a move away from the South Coast could still be a possibility despite his pleas but that being to Elland Road would appear unlikely.
