Salvation has moved a little bit closer with Erik Huseklepp becoming the latest to join the Pompey exodus.


He has left to return to Norway, signing a 4-½-year contract with former club Brann.


As with most deals these days no specifics of it have been revealed although the complex transfer shifting of money between various clubs must have seen a suitable outcome reached…


Good luck to The Viking, he scored some blinders and had some good moments but I cannot help but thinking he was not quite cut out for English football so this move is best for all – of course it was a MUST for Pompey to have a chance of survival!


Still, shifting Tal Ben-Haim and Kanu is going to be our biggest problem but, apparently, we are ‘a mere’ £250,000 from agreeing a deal with TBH at least…
