They say that ‘winning becomes a habit’, they also say that ‘wins breed confidence’ – well based on the fact that we have won our last 2 games, by our standards this season this is party time, we should be seeing this as confidence overflowing…

So, with this in mind should we not be going to Ewok Park – sorry Rovers fans I could not resist – thinking ‘we can do these?’

If the fact that we can draw level on points with Blackburn was not incentive enough, the fact that we ‘could’ move off the bottom of the table, if not ‘maybe’ move out of the bottom 3 completely should be incentive enough, right?

My main concern is that Paul Hart will adopt an over cautious approach, similar to that seen at Hull recently – and that was the wrong thing to do as ultimately this did more good to Hull than us, the same could be said of the game this weekend if we ‘let’ Blackburn get a point.

If Hart has learned anything this season, which to be fair I think he has at times, then you would hope that he has learned that overly cautious tactics will be no good, especially against Blackburn as they are a better side than Hull, much better in fact and I doubt that we will be able to look to defend in the main against them.

Whilst, in all honesty I would happily take a point against them, why not set out with a similar mentality to that shown against Wigan and the like that has seen us produce out best football.

Strike while the iron is hot I say, we have so much more to gain by doing this – goals win games, so lets hope that Hart keeps this in mind, not that I am expecting an all out attack mentality of course, but lets not go with an all out defend mentality…
