Reflecting on Derby defeat

An article from Pompeytim looking back at our defeat at Derby. Without being at the game, following it and, if I am honest, being bothered to reflect myself I use his forum post!

I was not at the game yesterday, nor was I able to follow it so – and I hope that you do not mind Tim! – I have taken a post from Pompeytim as the ‘reflection’ on the 3-1 loss at Derby.

So, over to Tim…

Missing: A defence. Reward offered

Yesterday was painful, but I was baffled a how the defence seemed to go AWOL.

Pearce, Rocha, Ben Haim and Halford are all highly-rated, and rightly so. But not a single one of them seemed to turn up first half yesterday.

Derby looked like a good side, but they took the Mickey. I’ve not seen a team have so much space & time on the ball as they had yesterday.

It felt like we had had a defender sent off. It was odd.

I don’t understand how all 4 could be so bad in the same week!
