Things had gone quiet, but for a reason, as a ban on reporting on details of the case had been in place but as of 2.30pm on Saturday Judge Anthony Leonard QC ruled that the ‘ban on reporting details of the proceedings could be lifted’…

Surely you do not need me to say what the ban had been lifted on?

Well, if you do it is about the tax evasion charges for Harry Redknapp and Milan Mandaric.

Some mutterings filtering through were thought to be saying that no trial would be faced by any, but this will not be the case, as these two will stand trial in the New Year.

Redknapp is alleged to have had payments of almost $300,000 paid into a bank account in Monaco by Mandaric between 2002 and 2007, payments that would have avoided the need for income tax and national insurance payments…

Both have been charged, although each denied these charges, and they will stand trial at Southwark Crown Court on January 23rd 2012, this will last for 2-weeks.

There is not anything relating to Storrieteller, so it would ‘seem’ that he has no charges to face?
