Pompey somehow only drew with Fulham in our latest Barclays Premiership match with Fulham, what about the others?

Saturday 11/11/06
Blackburn 0-1 Man Utd
Louis Saha’s (64) goal gave United a comfortable win in the LIVE SKY Sports Prem Plus game over Blackburn leaving them top of the league with Blackburn struggling.

Chelsea 4-0 Watford
Watford manager Adrian Boothroyd had hoped for an upset…no such luck here. A Didier Drogba hat trick (27,36 & 69) and an Andrei Shevchenko (52) goal giving Chelsea a comfortable win.

Everton 0-1 Aston Villa
Everton suffered a second straight defeat going down to Chris Sutton’s (42) goal.

Man City 0-0 Newcastle
Two teams struggling for form, especially Newcastle played out what I’ve heard as being a “largely” uneventful 0-0 draw in the early LIVE SKY Sports clash. Having seen the highlights it didn’t seem too bad?

Middlesbrough 1-0 West Ham
Middlesbrough’s forgotten man Italian Massimo Maccarone (74) grabbed the games only goal

Sheff Utd 2-2 Bolton
Sheffield United fought back from two down to earn a point. El-Hadji Diouf (34) opened the scoring for Bolton with Kevin Davies (59) adding the second. Two in three minutes from Rob Hulse (70) and Colin Kazim-Richards (73) saw the points shared.

Wigan 3-2 Charlton
A goal feast saw Wigan just edge this game. Lee McCulloch (13) and Henri Camara (41) gave Wigan a 2-0 lead before former Pompey captain Arjan De Zeeuw (52) put through his own net to bring Charlton back into the game. Matt Jackson (78) restored the two goal lead before Marcus Bent`s (90) injury goal.

Arsenal 3-0 Liverpool
In the afternoon LIVE SKY Sports clash Arsenal almost without question emphatically removed Liverpool from the title race with goals from Mathieu Flamini (41), Kolo Toure (56) and William Gallas (80).

Reading 3-1 Tottenham
In the early afternoon LIVE SKY Sports match Reading came back from Robbie Keane’s (24) penalty to win 3-1 thanks to goals from Nicky Shorey (38), Steve Sidwell (45) and Kevin Doyle (79)
