The Pompey Predictions League is very much part of this site now isn’t it? Would it be the same without it – I’m not sure it would to be honest with you.

Well, I must admit I wasn’t too confident of a win at Scunthorpe but had hoped we could at least collect a point – facts of the matter are the Iron could have easily won by a clearer margin than 2-0 on Saturday.

Bristol Rovers and Oldham are next at Fratton Park with the Pirates the first of this double header when a decent return of points would be expected.

Over to uspompeyfan with his latest update to the 2017-18 season…

This was always going to be a tough game as they were a useful side. Sloppy defending and a lack of effective firepower meant that the hosts ended up with a comfortable victory and Pompey remain asking questions of themselves.

Morgan was the only person with maximum points and leaps into second place. Dasha jumped to 4th with a home win and Blue exile was the only other player who knew Pompey would leave without points. Jim Smith’s Wig still leads but Morgan is only 5 points behind, with Dasha and Lorna a further 5 points back.

Keep on keeping on guys.

Anyone can enter at any time remember. Just because you missed out on predicting for the game against the Iron it’s by no means too late so join in now, for the first time perhaps in the next League One game.

This comes at home against Bristol Rovers this evening.

As we’re always keen to make it as easy for you as possible – as we want PLENTY to get involved – the forum link for your prediction to be made for this game is below… a little lower is the final of September’s games.
