The Pompey predictions league continued last weekend with the south coast derby with ‘our friends down the road’ The Scummers!

Hyped up as ‘El Clasicoast’ it did not live up to expectations really, then again perhaps it did as how often – granted from our viewpoint very much so following our ’emphatic’ 4-1 wins in each of them – are derbies ‘classic’ games for the football purist?

Not that often!

So, all in all the 1-1 draw that we saw was pretty much a fair result and most would have taken it, but did it have much impact on the predictions league table though?

A few picked up points with some correctly predicting draws, a few even right in the 1-1 scoreline and some getting the local lad Joel Ward right as a goalscorer although overall there was not much ‘major movement’ in the table.

Yet again PompeyFrippy failed to score but even so still retained top spot for a 20th game running on 64pts overall.

This is how the table, of 53 at present – nice to see some new entrants into the game, currently stands:

With a lot of games coming up in the next week or so things could end up being totally different early in the New Year so keep keeping on!
