A season that, for large parts, I – if I am honest – could not wait for it to end finishes at the weekend.

It has been a strange one, yet again, it seems to have flown by but also taken forever!

Now that it is coming to an end I would suspect that you, like myself now, do not want it end and wish it could continue. Fingers crossed we can just continue this into next season and not just live in hope…

Anyway, with the season ending it is ‘player of the season time’. VP has a forum poll up and running that would like your vote cast.

To vote for your player of the season – click here.

You have to login to vote, and can vote only once and that is why it is in the forum and not up as a front page poll, these can sometimes be ‘misleading’ with multiple votes cast…

To be honest, other than the past month or so, on the whole not too many have stood out for me with the majority of the best performers not really doing this consistently, or am I being too harsh?

Trevor Carson, Ricky Holmes and Jed Wallace are names that have been mentioned.

On Sunday, it is always traditional to have a bit of Toast, the Toast team put out this shout for the player of the season…

Toast Player of the Season

A real tricky one this season as so many players have been involved. Most seem to plump for either Sherlock Homes or Frank Carson; got any views Toasters?

So, who is it for you?

Let us have some thoughts below but also cast your vote in the forum too, and also take a look around while you are at it…
