Pompey will play SPL Champions Rangers at Fratton Park on 8 August for a Pre-season.
This will be the first ever meeting between the sides and also will maybe see the return of former Fratton favourite, Pedro Mendes.
Kick off is at 3pm.
Season Ticket holders will be given priority for seats and have their chance to buy tickets form June 29 to July 10.
Then for members form July 13 to July 17.
Tickets then will go on general sale on July 20 but due to the high demand, remaining seats will only be sold to fans on the Pompey’s ticketing database.
Tickets are priced at £20 for adults and £10 for concessions.
Rangers fans will have the whole Milton End and away tickets will only be sold at Ibrox only.
Peter Storrie quotes on the Pompey Site: “We’re delighted to have secured such a prestigious friendly against Rangers, the SPL champions. It really should be a fantastic game on the Saturday before the start of the Premier League season so I hope our fans will snap up the tickets.
“Rangers tell me that they could have sold 7,000 tickets, such is their incredible following, but we want to make sure all our loyal supporters get the chance to be there for such a memorable occasion.”
