Nope, I am not talking about ‘that match’ again – although that was some present – I am talking about the free coach travel being offered by the club for the Wigan match at the JJB later in the month as a thank you for our support.

The JJB was the scene of one of our most famous triumphs in recent years was it not and when we return there on the 20th October the club are offering free coach travel, when it would usually have cost adults £35 and seniors/juniors £32 – so this is a nice thank you.

With the upturn in fortunes with our form and no doubt as a result of that extraordinary game at the weekend, not to mention the fact that Pompey are looking for the almost unheard of back to back away league victories the tickets for Fulham on Sunday are selling well – with only 800 left which might sound a lot but this amount can soon be snapped up.

After the Reading game I would love to go to Fulham, but sadly that old ‘problem with money’ pain that so many of us have means that I have to refrain and be strong – the plus point is at least it is on the box, which is not the same but it is better than nothing.
