09/02/1903: Daniel McPhail
Happy birthday to Daniel McPhail – the Pompey player from the Blues’ past born on this day.
Quite clearly the fact he was born in 1903 means McPhail was before my time – as he will be anyone else – with him a player I know nothing about to be honest.

Another of those days where I recall a good few of the games played but can only claim the one. I was at Fratton Park for the draw with Sunderland in 2010.
