Another feature, again courtesy of our sister site PompeyRama, sees us look at those Pompey personalities – past or present – who have a birthday on this day.

6/3/1903: Robert Kearney
6/3/1965: John Kerr
6/3/1987: Kevin-Prince Boateng

From the Ed

Happy birthday to Robert Kearney, John Kerr and Kevin-Prince Boateng – the Pompey players from the Blues’ past born on this day.

Kearney was well before the time of anyone reading with Kerr not someone I recall too much about to be honest. Boateng was one of those frustrating players wasn’t he – had a decent spell with Pompey to be honest and was last known to me playing in Spain with Las Palmas?

Played – 15
Won – 7
Drawn – 2
Lost – 6

The only game I can personally claim was the win over Birmingham in the FA Cup at Fratton Park in 2010. However, who will ever forget the Thierry Henry moment of him parading around Fratton with a Blues shirt on after Arsenal beat us at Fratton in 2004.

What are your memories Kearney – obviously too early, Kerr and/or Boateng from their Pompey days? Also have you taken in any of the games previously played today – if so what are the memories from them too?
