Another feature, again courtesy of our sister site PompeyRama, sees us look at those Pompey personalities – past or present – who have a birthday on this day.

2/12/1994: Karim Rekik

From the Ed

Happy birthday to Karim Rekik – the Pompey player from the Blues’ past born on this day.

I do remember him from his loan from Manchester City – Rekik wasn’t they only one who arrived from them at the time either was he but think he was the one who made the most impact? Has gone on to have a decent career and become a Dutch international.

Now onto the games previously played.

Played – 13
Won – 7
Drawn – 1
Lost – 5

I can recall a few on the games but cannot claim attendance for any previously, I will not be at the game later today either.

What are your memories of Rekik from his Pompey days? Also have you taken in any of the games previously played today – if so what are the memories from them too?

PLAY UP POMPEY
