25/3/1991: Marlon Pack
Happy birthday to Marlon Pack – the Pompey player from the Blues’ past born on this day.
I still cannot believe Pompey let Pack go as easily as we did, then again that was Steve Cotterill for you! Ironically enough he ended up managing the midfielder at Bristol City, where he played Pack regularly, in fact he even captained the side under Cotterill.

A decent day as 50% of the games have ended with a Pompey win – a good omen ahead of Oxford visiting this afternoon?!
I can claim a couple from Fratton Park, but, as with the game against Newport before that, I cannot make Oxford. However, it’s been a good day for me as I have a win over Notts County in 2016 and a victory over Swindon from 2000.
